Expanding Our Reach

In 2025, Challenge Ministries expanded its services into Summit County, deepening our commitment to serve more individuals seeking a fresh start. As a job-readiness training provider for the National Sheriff’s Association’s IGNITE program, we now deliver workforce development classes inside the Summit County Jail, equipping participants with the skills, confidence, and preparation needed to pursue employment upon release.

These partnerships are essential to ensuring that every participant has access to the support, resources, and opportunities needed to move forward with confidence.

How You Can Help

Refer Someone To Our Progam

One of the most direct ways to make an impact is to connect someone to the support they need. If you know an individual or work with an organization serving people who could benefit from job-readiness training, we invite you to refer them to Challenge Ministries. By making a referral, you’re helping someone take an important step toward employment, stability, and a fresh start.

Become a Mentor

Lasting transformation is built on relationships. As a mentor, you have the opportunity to walk alongside a participant, offering encouragement, accountability, and perspective as they navigate challenges and pursue their goals.
