Our Impact

At Challenge Ministries, impact is measured in more than numbers – it’s seen in lives rebuilt, families strengthened, and individuals moving forward with renewed purpose. Through our job-readiness programs and workforce development training, we equip men and women to overcome barriers, pursue meaningful employment, and create lasting stability. Each story reflects the power of consistent support, practical skills, and a community that believes in second chances.

Transformations That Matter

Behind every statistic is a person taking a step toward a better future. As Challenge Ministries has grown, so has our ability to serve more individuals and families across our community, delivering measurable results while staying rooted in compassion and care.

Since launching in 2012, we have served more than 5,300 men and women, expanding from 129 participants in our first year to 984 individuals in 2025 alone. Nearly one in four participants are women, and about 49% are parents of children under 18, representing an impact that reaches more than 1,200 children. Today, 43% of eligible participants are employed, demonstrating meaningful progress toward stability and independence.

Our program completion rates have also seen significant growth – from 30% in 2022 to 52% in 2024 – reflecting a strengthened approach to engagement, support, and program delivery. This progress is made possible in part by the dedication of our community, including more than 1,000 volunteer hours each year.

“Every time an individual completes Challenge Ministries and obtains a job or reconnects with their family, it’s a victory for them, their family, us, and our community. Every time we see change, it’s very rewarding!”
